Michelle Smith Jennings

Michelle is originally from Austin, TX and has been dancing throughout her life. In 2015, she received her BA in Dance from Ohio Wesleyan University. She has experience in a variety of modern techniques along with an interest in improvisation. She has had the honor to take classes, workshops and/or work with many amazing dance instructors including Marin Leggat Roper, Rashana Smith, Jill Becker, Nancy Stark Smith, Erik Abbott-Main, Kate Warren, Kathy Dunn Hamrick, Nile Russell, Angie Simmons, and most recently with the wonderful dance instructors and community in Charlottesville: Amanda Liscouski, Emily Wright, Olivia Rivard Hill, and Susan Barnard. In addition to her dance training, she also has 2 years of aerial training in lyra and sling, which helped her gain an appreciation for strength training and movement off of the floor. She is so excited to have the opportunity to teach and can't wait to continue movin' and groovin'!
